Good music, good cause: Food drive part of 1-man show

Steinway-Artist George Winston makes everything look easy.

The accomplished musician performed at the
Renaissance Theatre (Mansfield, OH) for one
night to a small, yet very receptive crowd.

Winston, known for his "folk piano" compositions inspired by the seasons, performed selections
on a Steinway piano and acoustic guitar.

As part of the event, volunteers from the Independent Living Center of Central Ohio accepted
canned good donations. A portion of the proceeds of Winston's merchandise sales also went to
the center. "We received a very good amount of food donations," a representative said. "We want
to thank George for thinking about us for his performance."
